The voice in my head...

You are a disappointment. Keep focus, make small goals to achieve your big goals. Keep yourself busy. Do something. Everything is a mess. Clean your room. Read a book. Write your blog. Study your interests. It only take 30 minutes to jog and feel good. Cook for yourself. Bake for others. Drink water. Eat when you are hungry. Eat veggies and fruits. No plastic no plastic. Don't be forgetful. Dry your hair before bedtime. Sleep early. Push yourself.

Cause you are worth it. Accept that change is constant. Appreciation what you have.

It's November now..

I have locked myself away from a few social media apps, completely dived into my Muay Thai sessions. My stress level was high in June, I was heart broken and angry at myself for losing focus. I started questioning what I really want, do I even enjoy where I am right now.

Keeping myself busy with meal preps and exercise was my way of making myself feel better. Over July and August, I read a few books about things I love like wine and food. Spent a lot of time alone or sometimes with friends, dining, going to the beach, hiking and mountain biking. Hung out at the bar till 3am and took an ofo bike back home cos I was spending too much money at the bar. I miss so much things I had experience from the previous two years, that now I seem to be having a hard time finding those random adventures. In October, I couchsurfed a girl from Chile, our thinking is quite alike, she made me felt like I am not alone for the three days we spent together at Universal Studios and just chilling after dinner, bar hopping in Clarke Quay. Nowadays everyone is on their phone. Which I completely ban myself from when I am out with someone. It's a huge turn off to me, its a conversation killer. Anyway, I'll update my blog a little more, when I have more time to process my thoughts.

Here's a list of songs that have cheered me up and continue to..

Hello everyone, nope I haven't forgotten about you guys.. hmm maybe a little.. :P This draft has been sitting on my desktop for a whole freaking week now.

Anyway, let's get straight to it.

Question! Where do you think the BEST Gelato in Singapore is at?

If you know one, drop me a message.

Personally, I have tried a few Gelato Shops here. I know, nothing here can be compared to the

FRESHLY MADE GELATO in the streets of Italy. I could definitely taste the difference. The ones in Singapore has more milk and ice, less fresh products. Probably affected by the type of milk and water used. I have decided to do a rating for the stores, I have tried here, HONEST TASTE TEST.

First stop is ANDIAMO GELATRIA

Orchard Gateway, #B2-06, Somerset, Orchard.

Right after I came back from Rome, Italy.

I needed my Gelato fix.

Order: Pistachio and Hazelnut

Creamy: 4/5

Flavor: 2.8/5

Milk: 4/5

Price: $9.80 for two scoops

There was about only 7 flavors to choose from.

This was pretty alright I must say, but more flavors and stronger flavor would be better.

Second stop is A ROMA Plaza Singapura, #B1-32, Dhoby Ghaut

Order: Chocolate and Hazelnut

Creamy: 3.5/5

Flavor: 4/5

Milk: 3/5

Price: $7.90 for two scoops

Price only varies for the premium flavors

There were more than 7 flavors here.

Not just cream gelato but sorbets are also available.

By far, my go to shop for gelato. It has reasonable prices, scoops and taste.

Third Stop is GELATISSIMO

Shaw House, Orchard Road, #01-01

Order: Dark Belgium Chocolate and Coconut

Creamy: 3/5

Flavor: 3/5

Milk: 4/5

Price: $9.80 for two scoops

The scoops were too small ;(

Besides reviewing, these delicious treasures. I have a few photos from my Italy trip, of Gelato of course.

Just to give you a jizz what is the difference in scoop and presentation wise.

Gelateria Frigidarium

This is the first Gelato I had in Italy, while we were wondering in the streets of Rome at around 11pm. Everyone there young and old were enjoying two scoops each. The chocolate bar was a bonus, I wasn't expecting it. That night, weather was pretty chill at 22 degrees so the Gelato was melting at a slow rate.

Creamy: 4/5

Flavor: 3/5

Milk: 3/5

Address: Via del Governo Vecchio, 112 (10,036.92 km)00186 Rome, Italy

Antica Cremeria

Further out of Rome in Lazio, where English was less spoken, there was Antica Cremeria. When the evening arrives, there is always a queue all the way up to midnight. One of my favorite place to head to in the evening, and after dinner.

They also serve other desserts, waffles, cakes, sorbets..etc

A fast procedure of telling them,

piccolo, medio, grande (small, medium, big)

Pay for the size then choose your scoop of choice.

and they will ask you.. con biscotti or crema

(with biscuit or cream)

Creamy: 4/5

Flavor: 5/5

Milk: 3/5

Address: Via Lombardia 18 | traversa di via dei Lauri, 04011, Aprilia, Italy

Papilla Gelateria

Located in a Mosaic City of Ravenna. This Gelateria is one of the most popular there. Their fruit flavored gelato were one of a kind, we have tried both passion fruit and strawberry was fresh and full of flavor.

The first time, I had hazelnut and rum and raisin.

Each cone comes with a biscuit :D

Creamy: 4/5

Flavor: 5/5

Milk: 3/5

Address: Via Quattro Novembre 8, 48121, Ravenna, Italy

Along the coast towards, the Marina of Ravenna, we came across this Gelateria which was pretty good too.

I forgot the name and address for this location XD

Creamy: 4/5

Flavor: 5/5

Milk: 3/5

Well there are two more Gelateria which I haven't mention, strangely I didn't get a photo of, maybe because I had it so many times, its GROM Gelateria which is Vegan and they have the best dark chocolate gelato. I have seen them in both Rome and Milan, they seem to be opening more outlets :D

Thank you for reading, and yes! Time to get a Gelato!
