I guess its about time for me to summarize what my 2019 has been about. This year has been really quiet for me, it felt like I have grown so much older this year. More focused on myself, my nutrition and my surroundings. Adopting a few new lifestyle habits, learning how to cut out bullshit from the world. I like to live a simple life , having only things that are necessary. My goal for myself this year is to be a minimalist, drawing inspirations from Albert Einstein, Steve Jobs, along with some Celebrities and Youtubers. Since I have been working a full time job for two years now, I realize most of the things I have at home is no longer useful to me and begin to start throwing them out. Learning how to let go of things I own is a great feeling to experience. As for my self experiment of being a Pescatarian in 2018 was pretty easy. Maybe also because normally when I cook my own meals at home, they are usually vegetarian or vegan. And I have always love juicing, especially first thing in the morning. Also early this year in January, I received my food intolerance test results which really helped me with improving my acne condition, that I have suffered with since high school. Not forgetting to mention, Breath work! It helps tremendously for a stress and hectic mind similar to meditation.

Now that I have adjusted to my holistic lifestyle in terms of food, the next step for me is learn about the grooming products that I used. One thing that bugs me the most is shampoo, not everyone can get this right. There are so many brands out there. There are a few brands I tried and know that they definitely gives me dandruff or the artificial fragrance makes me feel sick. So currently as I am writing this, I am on third week (21 Days) of no shampoo. On the second week I have done a apple cider vinegar and baking soda detox, which helps to remove bacteria, chemicals from your previous shampoo and grease from your scalp. Just this week I did the lemon juice detox, which helps to clean out dirt and grease, as well as leaving your hair soft and shiny. So far, lemon juice is my favorite, I felt clean, hair is soft and smells clean. Started my 2019 with a few projects , both on going and new findings.

As I am gathering my thoughts on the road this March. This solo trip has lead me emotionally at my lowest, a little afraid, yet at the same time so much exciting travels are ahead. Working the Rat Race made me less alert of my surroundings. I begin to fall into comfort zone. So a trip is called for.

This trip was a back to back of my best friend's wedding + farewell as they will be moving to the USA. Then the very next morning after their wedding, I have to be in Thailand for The Biggest WaiKru Ceremony, part of Muay Thai Day. A few of my friends and I planned to do this trip together but sadly everyone's work schedule and plans makes it impossible, solo trip it is.

Believe it or not, I dream about watching the railway train passing through the narrow houses in Vietnam back in 2018. A week after I met up with my friend, and he announced to me that he had proposed to his girlfriend and the wedding will be in 2019 in Vietnam. I had a strong feeling a friend of mine is gonna get married. Spot on!

All of us were super excited for it!

What happened was, after I arrive in my hostel/hotel in Saigon dripping in perspiration from crossing the busy roads with my luggage. I sat at the lobby for 2 hours waiting for my room to be ready, the guy at the reception tried his best to communicate with me. He gets excited every time I understood his words of English. He had friends come and go, together shared a little conversation. We chatted about languages, travels, comparing diversity in countries over ice coffee and orange juice from an old man running a mini mart next to us. Soon, I have myself settled in my room, took a quick shower, sat down on the bed.. Literally, I have no plans in mind of where to go, except to eat.

The next day, I woke up with tummy ache from some take away food I had yesterday. Spent half of the day just lying around, watching Youtube videos on the Internet TV about Vietnam food. I checked my couch surfing app and texted the two Vietnamese locals who are free to bring me around. One of them was free in the evening after work, so I fixed a time with her, for dinner and coffee at a Reptile Cafe.

She picked me up at my hostel with her scooter, off we went to have street food for dinner. There we met a friend of hers, we had pork blood, seafood noodles. I wasn't that kin on pork blood, but I tried it anyway. We sat in the tiny chairs with tiny tables, kids sized I would describe them as. I love the fresh chili and parleys added into the bowl. After that, she drove me around District one and District four. We stopped at a bar for coffee and tea as the Reptile Cafe was closed that evening. We shall try again tomorrow. The third day, every one seems to be busy so I wondered into the city myself. I Grab to 2 tourist locations. First was the War Museum, which honestly made me really depressed. I was lost in the moment when I was there, thinking about life, how everything comes and goes and life can be so fragile. How people in the past just want to live, comparing with the modern humans who are greedy with possessions, why really. Next stop was the Cultural History Museum, where I chanced upon the Water Puppet Show, which the guy at the hostel told me about. I love it! Puppets are silly, they made my day.

Stay tuned for Part 2 of my March Trip!

The life of the rat race has caught me in an never ending loop.

In a good way of course!

I plan ahead for my meals, my workout and my beauty sleep. I am constantly upgrading myself, always keeping myself busy. In 2018, I was thinking to myself okay.. this year I shall focus on my full time career, my hobby (sports and nutrition) and some freelance work, the rest shall be free time. Then I remembered, I wanna hangout with friends, I also have language lessons to attend, I wanna get a bike license, my blog.. etc.

Now is January, I have put all my heart and soul into my career and my freelance work and after that, I only had time for a good meal, a cold shower and good quality sleep. The next day, UP! and Hustle Hustle lika Gangsta! Lol

As for my Personal Nutrition Studies and Research

Since I started it off in mid 2017, I have been doing my research studies non stop, listening to podcasts, reading books and watching lecture videos. Writing down notes and important links for common diseases, I would like to cure, with natural ancient medicine. At the end of 2018, I have passed and received my Personal Trainer Certificate. With the knowledge I have, I asked my parents to join me on writing a two week food log, after so I wrote a food and workout plan for my parents to help improved their health condition.

I have Food Allergies On my personal food log, surprisingly I have identified food causing acne. Immediately, I took it out of my diet. During this time, a week and the half before Christmas, I snail mailed my hair samples to the UK, for my intolerance test. About a month later, my results are emailed to me.

I jumped out of my bed, feeling extremely excited! My life is gonna change! Besides that, I have also started an audio book reading on my YouTube channel, on explaining how common food can be dangerous to anyone. A book I have stumbled across while doing my research on YouTube.
