Aye Everyone!

So far I am getting a hang of this :D
How was your weekend? I spent my Saturday exploring Chinatown with one of my good friends. It was organized by 'The Smart Local Singapore' Team, we covered the Chinatown Complex, Ann Siang Hill, Sri Mariamman Hindu Temple and Thian Hock Keng Hokkien Temple. There was also a Musical Box Museum which I really love. The whole trip around Chinatown to Tanjong Pagar, my friend and I got carried away by taking photos of each other, commenting on things we like and things that are silly.

Besides my Saturday, I took my Sunday a little slower than usual. I wasn't planning on going to the gym, instead I was looking to be surrounded by trees in the forest. Living nearby Macritchie Reservoir, I have almost explored all the trails except one. Started my hike/jog at 2.45pm after doing some warm up skipping by the dock near the Canoe Federation Hut.
10 minutes into the hike the rain started pouring, it made the atmosphere cooler, the air fresher, the beauty of mother nature makes me feel good. Before I know it, according to my fitness tracker, I have covered 4.8km. Looking at the map , I decided to continue my way towards the Tower and back to my bicycle.
The rain was on and off, there were people entering the trails from other entrances along the way. When I was about to reach the tower, I miss a turn by accident and found myself by the road. At this point, I wasn't listening to my iPod, I was in my own world, having a conversation with myself. My brain started to evaluate things, my life, my job, my emotions, yada yada.. yaday, why this, why that, I like that, I dislike that. Had a Q&A moment with myself, sometimes this happens in the morning when I am getting ready too. Anyway, it gave me a few ideas for my blog which I will cover them in my future posts. Nearing the end of my hike, I saw this Auntie walking bare footed in the forest, which I had also heard from a friend of mine that by doing so, its good for your well being. I kept thinking about going bare footed after I saw her. Ah Crap! you know what, every year I would write a list of things, 'Highlights of the Year' and bare footed in the forest would make it in the list. So I took off my shoes for the last 2km, honestly, no regrets, it made me felt like home. Then I thought to myself, Hell No! I am not going bare foot unless there is rain, the small rocks are annoying to step on.
